LSU figured to start the season as one of the favorites to win the SEC and a true national championship contender.

But, now, it appears Tigers’ coach Les Miles must find a new starting quarterback for his team’s opener against third-ranked defending Pac-10 champion and BCS title game finalist Oregon Sept. 3 at Cowboys Stadium in Arlington.

Starting senior quarterback Jordan Jefferson and linebacker Josh Johns both turned themselves into Baton Rouge police today, shortly after warrants were issued for both. After the warrants were issued, LSU issued a statement, announcing both have been suspended indefinitely.
